Game 3 – vs. San Diego Chargers

Not to make this all about Adrian Peterson, but the last time the Chargers came to Minneapolis it was November 4, 2007. On that day, Peterson broke the single-game rushing recording collecting 296 yards on the ground. Last season, the Chargers gave up 4.5 yards per carry.

Phillip Rivers and Melvin Gordon will present issues for the Vikings defense, but a run defense that bad for San Diego should open up everything and anything for Teddy Bridgewater to expose. If Peterson comes back to somewhat the way he was, it should mean a big game for someone on the offense for the Vikings.

This like the Lions game could truly go either way, but I favor the Vikings once again.
