A little something from Dozier

Did something weird happen at the All-Star Game this season? After that fancy exhibition game, both Perkins and Brian Dozier have been struggling for the Minnesota Twins. Dozier has seen his batting average for the second half of the season drop t0 .219, a .37 drop from .256.

There is not a good measurement of magic, I know, but if some of the Dozier magic from the first-half would like to show up again the last week of the regular season, I am sure the rest of the Twins would not complain about it. There was a week in the first half where it seemed that Dozier hit a walk-off or won the game in another way for the Twins every other night and a little bit of that production needs to return.

It is like the Perkins and perfect save percentage thing, it is impossible to think that that kind of thing would continue on through the year and into infinity, but that productivity should not totally disappear after the All-Star Game.
