Griffen’s getting back
It came as quite the shock to Minnesota Vikings fans and the NFL world that Everson Griffen wasn’t playing last Sunday against Kansas City. The late scratch was, or maybe still is, being investigated by the NFL, but it sounds like Griffen will be suited up and ready to go against the Lions on Sunday.
We still don’t exactly know what was wrong with Griffen. The team sent him to the hospital to get precautionary tests on his heart which apparently was fine since Griffen got home in time to see the end of the game on TV.
Griffen’s presence is a big deal. He’s a huge cog of the Vikings defense and will be a major force in getting pressure on Stafford. It looks like Griffen is good to go, but he for his health and his immense talent is something to watch for on Sunday.
