The Minnesota Twins clubhouse remains a revolving door this season with Eddie Rosario being moved down to the minor leagues.

After a struggling start to the season, Eddie Rosario has been optioned to Triple-A Rochester. Yesterday his mistakes put him on the bench in the seventh inning and ultimately to the minor leagues. Batting just .205/.224/.320, Rosario has shown little signs of improvement over this season.

Some thought it would be Max Kepler or Byron Buxton to replace Rosario but he will be replaced by Robbie Grossman, a newly signed outfielder who actually signed his minor league contract Tuesday. Grossman has had experience on the Houston Astros staff, as well as the Cleveland Indians staff last year.

Rosario is just the next player to be sent down to Triple-A Rochester within the last month. First Byron Buxton, then Jose Berrios, and now Rosario. It has been a literal game of duck, duck, grey duck. At least our Rochester Red Wings will have a stacked team.
