Henry Ellenson, power forward out of Marquette, has been a name linked to the Timberwolves through multiple mock drafts by Chad Ford of ESPN. The Timberwolves do have a need for a power forward, and especially one who has a nice stroke.

Ellenson has garnered comparisons to Kevin Love. At 6’10” with a 7’2″ wingspan and a weight of 245 pounds, Ellenson has one of the most NBA-ready bodies. He has a beautiful stroke for a big man. He could be a nice fit next to Towns for the foreseeable future.

Ellenson almost averaged a double-double last season at Marquette. He is great on the boards. He would be a needs pick in this scenario. All though stretch fours are so valuable in today’s NBA, selecting Ellenson at 5 would be a bit of a reach.
