U.S. Bank Stadium to Host 2017 and 2018 X-Games

With the new U.S. Bank Stadium almost open, people are starting to take notice to how amazing the glass structure actually is. ESPN’s X-Games will be holding their Summer Contests their for the next two summers.

U.S. Bank Stadium, the new home of the Minnesota Vikings, is getting booked faster than any other Minnesota stadium ever has. Since the completion of the all glass structure, sporting events are in line to book the stadium for their events over the next few years.

First, the stadium will be host to Super Bowl 52 in 2018. That will be an amazing event for Minneapolis. Next the Final Four Men’s Basketball tournament final will be held at the venue in 2019. Now the popular alternative sports competition, X-Games, will be holding their Summer games at the stadium for the next two summers.

This is an exciting time for Minneapolis as this will bring in a lot of money to local businesses. Minneapolis is getting to be known as a happening place, especially in the summer time.

The X-Games events will host competitions in skateboarding, BMX, and Moto Cross as well as music and other festivities.

Today out front of the stadium, their were multiple Moto Cross stars showing off their skills on a ramp.

The cities will be a gracious host for all of the upcoming events and most of all Minnesota Vikings fans are going to be in awe of the gorgeous layout. Minnesota Vikings single game tickets went on sale this morning and people were flocking to buy them for their first look at the stadium.

U.S. Bank Stadium will also be holding stadium tours this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. It will be a nice event for the fanbase to check everything out themselves and see the progression from the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome that used to sit on those very grounds.
