With the NBA season right around the corner, the Las Vegas Westgate Superbook has released its odds for the upcoming season. The Minnesota Timberwolves will be in decent shape is Vegas is correct.

Most fans are expecting the Minnesota Timberwolves to make a big leap this year. After adding a new head coach and another top 5 draft pick, along with the budding superstars already on the Timberwolves roster, the team is in good shape.

Last season, the Minnesota Timberwolves ended the season with 29 wins and 53 losses. At the end of the season, the team looked like they were starting to get it together.

That came from the team building chemistry, and ex head coach Sam Mitchell putting the correct lineup on the floor.

The Timberwolves will look to build on their late season success in the upcoming season and make a push for their first playoff berth in 12 years. To be in contention for the playoffs, they will have to hover around a .500 record.

The Las Vegas Westgate Superbook released their season records over/under, and their chances to win a division title today.

The Superbook has the Timberwolves at 41.5 wins in their over/under. That is .5 wins about .500. If the Timberwolves can keep that pace, they will be able to be in contention for that playoff berth.

Adding a veteran coach, along with the young stars taking another step forward, this should be doable. With the team winning 29 games last year, they also lost 14 games by less than 5 points. It seemed that they were not able to close games out in crunch time. That comes with experience, and they should be able to build on that this year.

In the division odds, the put the Timberwolves at 5-1 odds of winning the Northwest Division. They are prediction Utah to win the division with 2-1 odds.
