Minnesota Twins: Will Brian Dozier End Up Dealt Away?
All offseason we have heard rumors of Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier interest. Now that some of the top bats are off the market, talks have warmed up, but will the Twins find what they are looking for?
Coming off a career year, Minnesota Twins second baseman Brian Dozier has been the hot trade target for multiple teams around the league.
There are many contending teams that are looking to fill a hole at second base, or need a bat for the middle of the lineup. Dozier is a perfect candidate for that.
He has been linked to multiple teams so far. The sources say that the Washington Nationals, San Francisco Giants, St. Louis Cardinals, and most of all the Los Angeles Dodgers have made contact regarding Dozier.

Dozier would be a perfect fit for the Dodgers, filling their hole at second and giving them another power bat in their lineup. The Dodgers also have the prospects to please the Twins. But, will they come to the agreement that gets the deal done?
Sources say the two teams have agreed on Jose De Leon, Dodgers top pitching prospect, but have not been able to agree on who else would be part of the deal.
The Twins need to trade Dozier while his market is this hot. From what we have seen, Dozier had a career year last year and him being able to recreate that output yearly is not very realistic.
It is time for the Minnesota Twins to commit to the full rebuild and get some pitching, their biggest hole, in return for players who are at their peak as far as trade value.
