Jimmy Butler took former Chicago Bulls co-workers out to dinner
Jimmy Butler is Minnesota-nice and took out his former Chicago Bulls co-workers to dinner.
A guy has got to eat and it’s fun to eat with people you love, so that made for a nice combination for one of the newest Minnesota Timberwolves Jimmy Butler. Butler took out some former Chicago Bulls staffers over the weekend, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Butler was back in Chicago for Dwyane Wade’s youth basketball camp. While in town, Butler took out about 35 staffers to a dinner that reportedly lasted three-hours.
Butler and the Bulls employees reportedly went to a new sushi restaurant named Katana.
So why did Butler do this? Why did Butler take out almost three dozen former co-workers? According to the Chicago Tribune:
"Butler wanted to “say goodbye and thank you,” according to someone familiar with his plans."
Good for Jimmy Butler. He seems like an awesome dude and it appears that Minnesota not only has a great basketball player, but also a great guy on the team.

Butler, of course, wasn’t the only addition the Timberwolves made this offseason. Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson also were brought in to strengthen the team and send Minnesota back to the playoffs after a 13 year absence.
This is a much better story involving seafood than the last time it hit the Minnesota sporting scene. The last time seafood and Minnesota sports were intertwined was when Adrian Peterson had an allergic reaction to seafood in seafood hotbed Mankato. I can confidently say that Mankato isn’t exactly a seafood hot bed as someone who has frequented the Red Lobster a time or two or hundred.
