Special Teams:

More from Sporting Sota

  • McKinnon, Coley and Adams all returned kicks, but none stuck out in that role. I think this job is going to the reliable Sherels unless the Vikings crash the waive wire for a returner.
  • Marshall Koehn made a 29-yard field goal, but Kai Forbath upped him with a 51-yard field goal of his own. Yet, Koehn showed a much stronger leg than Forbath in kickoff duties, so if the battle stays fairly even, don’t be surprised to see Koehn win the job given his stronger leg.
  • Ryan Quigley and Taylor Symmank each punted three times pinning the Seahawks twice and once, respectively, within their own 20 yard-line. Symmank averaged 42.3 yards a punt, while Quigley averaged 40.7. Rumor is that Zimmer is leaning toward Quigley for the job, but Symmank’s strong leg is intriguing.
