Minnesota Vikings: Justin Timberlake likely Super Bowl halftime performer
It looks like Justin Timberlake will be the halftime performer when the Minnesota Vikings and U.S. Bank Stadium host the Super Bowl.
If you don’t like the rumored Super Bowl halftime act, well, you can cry me a river. The NFL is bringing sexy back to the biggest musical performance of the year by bringing Justin Timberlake back to the stage this time at the Minnesota Vikings’ U.S. Bank Stadium according to multiple sources including Us Weekly.
Timberlake is one of the biggest pop stars in the world. A very successful stint with boy band sensation NYSNC in the late 90’s and the early 2000’s launched Timberlake into absolute superstardom.
NSYNC released three mega-commercially successful albums: ‘NSYNC’, ‘No Strings Attached’ and ‘Celebrity’. Smash singles like ‘(God Must Have Spent) A Little More Time on You’, ‘Bye Bye Bye’ and ‘It’s Gonna Be Me’ resulted in huge stadiums tour bringing NYSNC to the forefront of a lot of minds and into the pockets of a lot of Hit Clips owners.
In 2002, NSYNC took a temporary hiatus which never ended and the group went into their solo careers. Does that sound familiar One Direction fans?

Since then Timberlake has released four solo albums with his most recent full work being his ‘The 20/20 Experience’ two-part album released in 2013. Timberlake also recently had the hit song from the animated movie ‘Trolls’ that I’m sure you’ve heard a million times, ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’.
Timberlake has also appeared in a lot of movies during his solo career while also making memorable appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live’ especially with The Lonely Island.
All that being said, Timberlake might still be best known for the last time he was on the Super Bowl halftime stage. Last time Timberlake graced that stage was when Janet Jackson had a certain wardrobe malfunction. That was back in 2004, so apparently 14 years later is enough time for the NFL to forgive and forget.

Personally, I’m all in on Timberlake as the halftime performer in the great state of Minnesota. I propose that all 10,000 of the lakes get changed to Timberlake for the week of the Super Bowl. It’s not a bad thing to fall in love with Timberlake.
