As we near the Thanksgiving holiday in America, we look to what the Minnesota Twins should be thankful for this year.

It was a good season for the Minnesota Twins in 2017. Granted, it was kind of weird with the whole being bother a buyer and a seller in the course of a couple days at the trade deadline, but it did eventually result in a playoff appearance for the team. The Twins overachieved for what the expectations for and that is something to be thankful for right off the bat.

As we look back at the season that was, we think about what the team should be thankful for. Personally, I am thankful for the fact that one of the things I write about this season doesn’t have to be one of the awesome summer concerts that Target Field hosts. Yes, in the past it has gotten that bad.

Kenny Chesney paid the bills those summers. We were so much younger then…

Anyway, you don’t have to think about Chesney anymore if you don’t want to because Twins baseball is good again! It’s an exciting time for a lot of Minnesota sports teams and it is possible with a few additional moves that the Twins have the highest ceilings of them all.

That is something to be thankful for… and so are these.
