Nemanja Bjelica

There are many great players on the Timberwolves roster, but there might not be one that is so integral to the working order of the team than Nemanja Bjelica. Bjelica has been the driving force that makes the bench click which was a huge question mark going into the season.

At the beginning of the season, it was known that the starting lineup would be quite good. That has come to fruition. The bench had question marks with Jamal Crawford and Gorgui Dieng being seen as the only sure bet in the second unit. That has changed with the emerge of Bjelica.

Bjelica is currently the best three-point shooter in the league while hitting at least one three-pointer in every game so far this season. Bjelica has also started to drive to the hoop with the ball and actually convert when he does. The emergence of Bjelica and the solid play from fellow bench dwellers like Tyus Jones have been a real reason why the Timberwolves are currently in the top ranks of the Western Conference standings.

Frankly, Bjelica has finally become the dynamic player that the Timberwolves thought they were getting and that is something to be thankful for.
