The Minnesota Vikings are heading into the playoffs as the second seed in the NFC, but the seeds in the conference are deceiving this season.

The New England Patriots are the leaders in the clubhouse for being named the favorite to win the Super Bowl next month. That’s probably for good reason considering the fact that the Patriots have more Super Bowl wins the past two decades than some teams have playoff appearances. Throughout all of that New England love, it seems that the same team keeps popping up as the same second biggest favorite to win the Super Bowl. A lot of people are feeling a home Super Bowl for the Minnesota Vikings.

While it would be a lot of fun and a whole lot less stressful to write the Vikings into the Super Bowl right now, that simply can’t be done. While the Vikings might be the favorite to emerge from the NFC, there is a legitimate argument to be had that any of the six NFC teams could advance all the way to the Super Bowl.

That makes things tough for the Vikings. Not that there should ever be a cakewalk in the NFL playoffs, but these grouping of teams is a daunting group put in the right light.

That being considered, let’s discuss who the Vikings should least want to face throughout the NFC side of the playoff bracket.
