Minnesota Vikings: Ranking the NFC teams the Vikings least want to face in the playoffs
2. Atlanta Falcons
The Falcons have been flying under the radar way too much this season. Let us not forget that this Falcons team is less than a year removed from dominating the early parts of the Super Bowl… yes, they blew an epic lead, but this Falcons team has a lot of what some other teams in the NFC lack: playoff experience.
I’m sure if you asked Mike Zimmer right now he would wish that his team had a little bit more of that right now. It won’t be the downfall of the Vikings, but more playoff experience never hurts a team.

The Vikings defense is good, but so is the combination of Matt Ryan and Julio Jones. That combination wasn’t exactly connecting when the Vikings defeated Atlanta earlier this season in Georgia, but that combination is still a scary one.
Matt Ryan is underrated and has a good amount of playoff experience now. This Falcons team has to want to show that they are better than a team that blew a huge chance to win a championship, so they will have a big chip on their shoulders throughout the postseason.
Atlanta has won three of their last four games with three of those being against fellow playoff teams in the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers. The Falcons might be flying right currently, they would be a scary matchup, but a matchup the Vikings would probably win again.
