Toronto Blue Jays starter Marcus Stroman could be available for trade given he could bring back a good value and is also only signed through 2019. The Blue Jays appear to be out of contention for 2019 and will very likely lose Stroman in free agency.

In 2017 Stroman finished eighth in Cy Young voting and was awarded a Golden Glove.  He also had an impressive 3.09 earned run average. Stroman’s 2018 season was an injury-plagued one and it showed in his performance and producing the worst statistical year in his career. So far in 2019, he is back to form, on track to have his best season to this point. In 2019 Stroman has a  2.84 earned run average in 13 starts and a 2.25 earned run average over his last four starts.

Stroman could cost the Twins a top 100 prospect, plus another prospect and also would need to be signed to a new contract. The cost would be justified if he can be a Co-Ace with Odorizzi or a strong number two starter.
