Minnesota Twins to wear St. Paul Saints throwback jerseys May 30
By Nam Huynh
The Minnesota Twins wore 1951 Minneapolis Millers uniforms when they hosted the Kansas City Royals at Target Field last season for a throwback game.
For this year’s throwback game, they will be representing the other half of the Twin Cities.
The Twins will sport St. Paul Saints uniforms for when they host the Milwaukee Brewers on May 30.
Unlike the Millers, the Saints are still an active baseball organization and are a member of the North Division of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball. The Millers folded after the 1960 season with the arrival of the Twins in 1961.
