My 3 Favorite Teddy Bridgewater Plays of the 2014 Season
By Nick Fritz
Finally, the best pass I can remember from a Vikings quarterback. There is no defense for the perfect pass. This was the perfect pass. Though the Vikings didn’t come out with the victory, we left the game buzzing about the potential shown in this one play alone. When asked if hauling in this touchdown felt like old times playing with Rodgers and Favre, Jennings smiled.
“It did,” he said. “I’m not going to lie.”
Breakdown: This one is pretty simple. The Dolphins rushed five but the Vikings line did a pretty good job picking it up. Pressure got close but to no avail as Teddy had the ball out in no time. Greg Jennings deserves credit for running an excellent post route, but it’s the dime from Bridgewater that stands out in this play.
