More from Minnesota Vikings

I am in the camp that believes the Vikings current receiving corps is pretty strong. Greg Jennings is the veteran leader of the group. I have heard talk of restructuring his contract but with the amount of cap space the Vikings will have with or without Adrian Peterson I don’t feel like it is necessary. Besides, I believe he is instrumental in the continued development of Teddy Bridgewater, and the Vikings number one priority needs to be giving Teddy all of the tools necessary to succeed.

The other big off-season story for Vikings receivers will be the development (or lack thereof) of Cordarrelle Patterson. Patterson was one of the least fun Vikings story lines of 2014. No one will fully know why he was not able to make more of an impact. At this point, it does not really matter. What matters is that he fixes it and gets back to the big play-making guy we became accustomed to during his rookie year.

As far as the rest of the guys go, Jarius Wright has proven he has big play ability, Adam Thielen played well and was one of the team’s best special teamers and Charles Johnson came out of absolutely nowhere (Cleveland) to make a huge impact in the second half of the year.
