Minnesota Timberwolves Trade Chase Budinger To The Indiana Pacers
I have some unfortunate news for any Chase Budinger fans out there, it looks like the Rick Adelman favorite will be headed to the Eastern Conference and the Indiana Pacers via a trade. Of course, a trade means the Wolves get something in return and that something is Damjan Rudez.
Budinger spent the last three years of his career with the Wolves, but never could stay healthy. The 27-year-old played 23 games, 41 games and 67 games in his three season with Minnesota while averaging 7.2 points per game. Fun fact, Budinger has never played in all 82 games of an NBA season.
Budinger’s point production has fallen down in the last couple of seasons. His rookie season with Houston, Budinger averaged 8.9 points per game and averaged in the 9.0’s the next two seasons with Houston and his first season with the Wolves.

The Wolves get Damjan Rudez from the Pacers and the 29-year-old is fairly new to the NBA game with last season being the Croatian’s first season in America. Rudez appeared in 68 games for the Pacers and averaged 4.8 points a game.
Rudez can shoot the three and that’s about it. Last season, Rudez shot .406 from three knocking down 69 three-point shots while only converting 50 two-point shots.
He grabbed only 47 rebounds which is pretty much the number achieved if you just stand there and hope you get a rebound through 68 games.
It’s not entirely obvious yet if the Wolves will in fact keep Rudez, it really could go either way. Rudez does one thing well and that’s shot the three, something the Wolves surely need help with.
