What will Diggs dig up?

This past week on Sporting Sota, we’ve been talking a lot about the rookies the Vikings are putting out on to the field. No one has caught the attention of the media and fans more than rookie wide out Stefon Diggs and for good reason.

Diggs has made an instant impact as soon as he got in his first game against the Denver Broncos a couple weeks ago and continued his success last week against the Kansas City Chiefs. Offensive Coordinator Norv Turner wants all fans and media to cool their jets about Diggs, but what Norv doesn’t understand is that that isn’t as much fun!

So far, Diggs has 13 catches on 19 targets and 216 receiving yards in only two games played. The more Diggs plays, the more the rest of the NFL gets tape on him and can more easily figure him out, but that’s when it becomes fun.

Diggs is certainly worth watching for against Detroit on Sunday. He’s quickly becoming one of Teddy Bridgewater’s favorite targets and it’ll be intriguing to see if this initial hot streak for the rookie ends.
