Kendricks’ kick

Speaking of rookies, Eric Kendricks had a heck of a game last week against the Chiefs. Kendricks finds himself in an expanded role after the Vikings dealt Gerald Hodges to the San Francisco 49ers during the Vikings’ bye week.

Last week, Kendricks had nine tackles with a sack. It was Kendricks’ second straight week with a sac and his second time in three games with his career high of nine tackles in a contest. Simply, with more playing time, Kendricks looks to be getting more and more solid.

It’ll be fun to see what Kendricks can do in a more expanded role against the Detroit Lions. Last game he had only three solo tackles, but that was with Hodges still around on the team.
