Minnesota Timberwolves posted an epic video tribute to the former Target Center bathrooms.

Target Center has been undergoing a humungous facelift since the Minnesota Timberwolves season ended. The renovation has sent the Minnesota Lynx to the Xcel Energy Center and will be forced to play their playoff games at Williams Arena on the campus of the University of Minnesota. The renovation will be done in time for the Timberwolves season, but not without some heartbreaking losses.

The Timberwolves posted on social media on Thursday a tribute video to one of the things that made Target Center a beautiful place. Minnesota sent out a video in honor of the troughs that have now have been told goodbye.

It truly is a sad day for Minnesota sports fans. Troughs were once a staple of Twin Cities sports arena bathrooms, but now they’ve all been replaced by urinals. Minnesota sports fans will now have to go to the bathroom like regular human beings at individual urinals instead of the troughs and it is kind of an unsettling thought. It’s a big change.

Change is hard.

The new urinals, of course, are part of the new era of Timberwolves basketball. A basketball team that has added super stud Jimmy Butler along with Taj Gibson and Jeff Teague this offseason. The added pieces and the continuing maturation of Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins projects the Timberwolves towards a big increase in wins for the franchise in the upcoming season. In fact, ESPN recently released a projection pinning the Wolves on 50 wins. That would be an increase of almost 20 wins for the team.

There are many reasons to visit Target Center in the upcoming season, but the new bathrooms will now be a  must see, too. Things are happening for the Wolves.
