The Minnesota Vikings won impressively in their opening game on Monday night. What did we learn from the contest?

I think it is safe to say that many thought it was quite possible that the Minnesota Vikings would win on Monday night. Many probably didn’t think that they would do it while looking so impressive. They looked very impressive. I truly try to be as objective as I can, but, baby, it’s hard not to get excited seeing Sam Bradford dropping deep dimes to Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs.

Bradford and his wideouts looking like studs wasn’t the only thing we learned about in the contest against the New Orleans Saints. For starters, we learned that Drew Brees is still a really, really good quarterback, but the Vikings defense also looks really good. Brees got the Saints a-rolling multiple times, but the purple defense stopped those drives and made those into field goals often.

We, of course, learned about a lot about the Vikings, too. Let’s dive into what we learned from this game before we all turn our attention to next week’s matchup. That’ll be a fun one against the Pittsburgh Steelers, but we’ll be looking at that game soon enough.

Let’s dive in to the Vikings football knowledge bombs!
