As young as the Timberwolves largely are, it is no surprise that many of them are not fully physically developed yet. That being said, it will be imperative for many of the current Wolves to put on some pounds in the coming off-season. The Wolves have been atrocious on defense this season, giving up a ridiculous 108.3 points per game. Hand in hand with that stat is another sobering one: The Wolves are 25th in the 30 team NBA in rebounding differential. Injuries have played a large role in both realities to be sure, but the Wolves are also being out-muscled on a night to night basis.

Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine and Gorgui Dieng are all very athletic and can jump out of the gym. That said, they each have slight builds relative to their positions, which makes top-level defending impossible. Hitting the weight room this coming summer will be imperative for this group. Maybe they should ask Shabazz Muhammad for some tips.
