More from Minnesota Wild

The Minnesota Wild proved that they are still capable of losing last night, dropping a 2-1 decision to the Winnipeg Jets in overtime. It was disappointing in that Winnipeg is one of the teams the Wild are chasing and now fell another point behind them. On the other hand, playing on the second night of a back-to-back is always difficult and the Wild were at least able to salvage the Bettman Point. With fewer than 30 games remaining it is crunch time. Based on talent and the way they have been playing as of late I expect the Wild to move up a couple of spots and find themselves in the Stanley Cup Playoff come season’s end. It is not just going to happen though. Let’s take a look at what the Wild need to do to avoid the golf course at the end of the regular season.
