Martin Brodeur
Martin Brodeur is one of the greatest NHL goaltenders of all-time. That being said, there was a reason the New Jersey Devils allowed him to leave to go to St. Louis to join the Blues. It is impossible to maintain top-tier play forever, and he debuted the same year the Twins last won the World Series. This season, he finds himself as part of a three-goalie carousel in the Arch City. While keeping three netminders can be tenable for awhile, if the Blues have injury issues or other shake-ups on the roster, it would seem to make sense to move one of their goalies, and Brodeur seems to be the most likely candidate. There was some speculation both last year and in the offseason that Brodeur could land in St. Paul, but it obviously never came to fruition. I would be open to Brodeur joining the Wild, but only if the price is right. He has not played much, only appearing in seven games and his numbers have been roughly in line with the guys we already have. I feel like there are better options available.
